Color Management is the controlled conversion of colors from one device to another. Color is represented by Red, Green and Blue values of 0-255 in the RGB system, the most common system for camera's, scanners, computer monitors and desktop printers.

From viewing a scene in your view finder to viewing a final print that looks the same as the original scene is a challenge that can be answered by Color Management.

We will look at some basic Color Management principles and list some additional resources on the subject.
